Give SEND learners a way to rehearse shopping, food preparation, travel and community activities in XR. Studio lets staff guide active tasks, vary the challenge and look back at what happened afterwards.
For specialist schools, colleges and Preparing for Adulthood teams working with older learners. Studio supports real-world teaching and practice; it does not replace them.
Why rehearse in XR?
Practice before a busy real-world setting.
A shop, café or bus brings choices, objects, signs and other people together. Studio makes these situations available for supervised, repeatable practice when an immediate community visit is not practical.
Repeat an activity with the support or challenge that suits the learner and the session.
Use what happened in XR to plan what to practise with staff in the real setting.

Shop with a list
Find items in a supermarket, scan shelves and choose between similar products.

Adjustable challenge
Build familiarity, then ask for more independence.
Staff choose the activity and its available settings, adjust support, and return to the task. The same supermarket or kitchen activity can be used for an initial guided attempt and later practice with greater challenge.
Realistic sequencing, visual search, object handling and decisions make the practice more than passive VR familiarisation.
Review together
Look at the steps behind the result.
Where an activity records them, Studio shows task information such as timings, cues or prompts, errors, repeated attempts and completion. Staff can use those details alongside their own observations to discuss what happened and choose the next practice task.
The information varies by activity. It is not a formal SEND assessment, an EHCP outcome measure or automatic evidence of a qualification.
Preparing for Adulthood
XR practice belongs alongside real-world learning.
Independent living, travel, communication and participation in the community are connected parts of Preparing for Adulthood. A learner can explore a task with staff, rehearse it in Studio, repeat it with a different level of support and then practise in the shop, café, street or bus they actually use.

Teachers, tutors and support staff decide what transfers to the learner's own environment. Following steps, making choices and communicating at a counter can also be relevant to employability preparation. Studio provides structured practice, not a substitute for community learning or SEND travel training.
In your setting
Use the Studio you already know.
Run supervised activities with a shared headset and review each learner's session afterwards. Studio can be used on existing compatible hardware where available, or through a supported headset option with onboarding and remote support.
