Nudge Reality builds CorteXR around the way therapists actually use activities.
CorteXR grew from a simple clinical idea: immersive technology is most useful when it gives people a meaningful activity to do, and gives professionals something clearer to observe, adapt, and discuss afterwards.
The early work focused on cognitive rehabilitation after stroke, using virtual everyday scenarios rather than abstract exercises or novelty headset demonstrations. That thinking still shapes CorteXR today: the software is built around practical activities, supervised sessions, reviewable activity material, and support for the professionals responsible for using it.

From VIRTUE to CorteXR
The work began in cognitive stroke rehabilitation.
The published VIRTUE/CorteXR clinical work explored immersive VR cognitive rehabilitation after stroke, using realistic interactive scenarios based on activities of daily living.

CorteXR Stroke is UKCA-marked software for clinician-led cognitive stroke rehabilitation. CorteXR Studio is non-medical VR activity software for therapist-led sessions. Clinical evidence and UKCA marking apply to Stroke only.
