This guide is for patients, relatives, carers, and helpers using CorteXR at home.
Before a session:
- Make sure the headset and controllers are charged.
- Sit somewhere stable and comfortable.
- Clear the space around the chair so there are no trip hazards.
- Keep a helper nearby if the patient needs support putting on the headset or using the controllers.
- Stop the session if the patient feels dizzy, uncomfortable, anxious, or unusually tired.
CorteXR should be used as directed by the clinical team. If anything feels unclear, contact the service that issued the headset or use the contact form on this site.
